What To Expect
Step 1 – Onboarding
- To begin with, we will ‘On Board’ your project into our system schedule.
- You will receive the first invoice as per your original quotation.
- We will book your project in for the next available survey date.
- Note: Your first invoice needs to be paid in order to action your survey date.
Step 4 – Client Review
- On receipt of payment of your final invoice, we will issue your Planning Pack.
- We will issue you with a copy of the planning drawings by email for your review and sign off.
- We will make final amendments with your input in preparation for lodging your application.
- Week 4.
Step 2 – Survey
- We will carry out a measured and photographic survey of your house.
- Our surveyor will sit with you on the day of your survey and record the agreed brief with you.
- You will receive a copy of the brief via email on completion of the survey.
- Note: We can only proceed to the next step of the process when the brief is signed off on by you.
Step 5 – Planning Admin
- Upon sign-off on your Planning Pack we will finalise all planning application administration.
- We will advertise your planning permission in the newspaper.
- We will send you a laminated copy of your Site Notice for you to erect in front of your house.
- Week 4.
Step 3 – Drafting
- We will commence drafting based upon your survey and agreed brief.
- This stage takes 4 weeks to complete.
- When we have completed the drawings and planning pack we will issue you with your final invoice.
Step 6 – Lodge Planning
- We will lodge your planning application with your Council.
- Note: Your Site Notice must remain in place for 5 weeks from the date noted on your notice.
- Remember, it takes 8 weeks for the decision to come through on your planning application.
- Complete.
